Forsythia shakes her golden plumb.
Plum tree dances in her wedding gown
And Barlett pears soon to put on a display.
Some daffodils still wear their spring crown.
How I miss my beautiful pale pink rose
Once upon the garden gate trellis ran.
Delightful fragrance a sensuous balm
Oh! To see you there once again.
Brambles started to grow upon the trellis.
Choking out your beauty my dear friend
Once the aroma lifted my downed spirit.
I did not want our relationship to end.
