Jesus Walked

"Jesus walked this lonesome valley
He had to walk it by Himself"
Even though surrounded by disciples
He walked it by Himself  

Jesus stood up to fiery trials
He stood up by Himself
Even though He had disciples
Jesus stood by Himself

Jesus faced the establishment
He faced them all alone
He was the only defender
He stood by Himself_God atoned

He was surrounded by followers
When He healed the sick and blind
When the tide turned against Him
He stood all alone

But when we cry, we cry alone. Difficulties of life, we have to meet alone. A sad truth powerfully established.
