The Garden

"I come to the garden alone"
He is here in this quiet place
"He speaks and the sound of His voice"
Offers peace, hope in my space

"While the dew is still on the roses"
"I come to the garden alone"
The bird in the tree still doses
These moments with Him best known

"I'd stay in the garden with Him"
Though life to me is calling, tomorrow
"I come to the garden alone"
Again, how I want to go slow

"And He tells me I am His own"
His assurance is my capstone
Once more on this another day
"I come to the garden alone"
