Evidence Of Spring

Down where the privet hedge's buds are white
There are green blueberries upon verdant bushes
They are all chilled by low temperatures at night
While amaryllis' buds through earth pushes

Andrea, yes there are more than one evidence of spring, and they are going on all around and there is a continuous change in what is happening in the plants with one blooming then another then another right on time. Amazing how that works. Your visit was encouraging. Sara K

Yann, spring minus the pollen or the allergies would be wonderful year-round. I know God knows best though. We have to have a little uncomfortable to appreciate the comfortable. Sara K

Dear Sara, reading this poem, I couldn't help but think of the quiet beauty that surrounds us in nature, much like the green blueberries and budding amaryllis described. Despite the chill of the night, these natural wonders persist, pushing through the earth with determination and grace.
