"Love Without Hope"

For my contest, "Love Without Hope" please only a four line poem. I would prefer rhyming but it can be another four line poetic form that does not rhyme. If you have entered a poem that is longer than four lines please take the time to reconsider your work and rewrite it if you want to place..Over four lines will be eliminated first. If you don't use "Love Without Hope" in the title, your work will be eliminated but you may add some aspect of your own to that title to make it your own if you want to do that..If I am reading poems and I see "Love Without Hope" I will know to not read that work..My memory is so bad that I will not remember that I saw it in the line up ...LOL

This little boy loved that bird, still loves that bird, will always love that bird

but he has no hope of its return.
