When silence speaks....
In the still hush of dawn serene
Silence speaks of this pastoral scene
Whispers of wind through fields of green
Where nature’s beauty truly convenes
Meadow flowers bloom in shades bright
Beneath the soft morning’s sunlight
Rustling leaves in gentle flight
A tranquil moment, pure and right.
The whip-poor-will ‘s song pon the air
His melody is beyond compare
A peaceful stillness everywhere
In this gentle pastoral scene fair
The babbling creek sings a sweet tune
Beneath the silvery hidden moon
Harmony felt beneath the fog so soon
Now silence speaks as nature communes
The nightjar’s voice slowly goes quiet
Daybreak is here always reliant
Early morn our only time to commune
Thank you, God, for morn’s sweet tune
