My first Blog with the Introduction of a new lovely form of Poetry for PS

My Dear Precious Friends of Poetry Soup.

This is my first Blog and hope that all my known and unknown friends of Poetry Soup would give their opinion on this new approach to enrich a new form of Poetry in English. Even if you find it not acceptable, I would welcome your critical comments. For me your critical comments too would be priceless, as it would come from the members of this lovely group of people from all over the world ‘Poetry Soup’. I am sure to have your wonderful support about this new approach.

I am trying to introduce through this wonderful website a new form of Poetry perhaps for the first time in English. May be someone else may have tried this beautiful form but I have no knowledge about that.
Kawaali is the art of singing a Poem as a Song either by an individual or by a group of singers. Normally it is sing by two persons or groups. If the starting group is a Male singer or group of singers, the second group should preferred to be represented by a Female singer or Female group of singers. The subjects of Kawali vary from human love and revealing of emotions and feelings to Godly love and prayers. In India and Pakistan it is the most fascinating form of singing, we often find in Hindi films. I have composed this lovely Kawali in Hindi and English both and hope that this new form would give you a very amusing joy of listening the sweet sarcasms on each other to be made by both the lover and the beloved or the singers Male and Female or Groups of Male and Female singers.

The only thing important about this form of Poetry and Singing is that words used to convey feelings should never be offending although it can always remain sarcastic.

IMPORTANT; My Poem 'I Can Hear Your Voice in My Heart' is still not in the final lyrical form. In its current shape one can get the idea how a Kwaali is developed. I am trying to make it in the lyrical form with the help of English lyrical notes Do Re Mi or with the help of Indian musical notes ' Se Re Ga Ma Pa Dha Ni Sa. This may take some time. For those who would like to listen - How a Kawaali is presented with music I have quoted above the U Tube webpage on which the famous Indian Kawaali ' Meri Tasveer Laker Kya Karoge’ can be enjoyed.
