The Fate of Snowflakes

they say no two snowflakes are alike, I beg to differ for me, they are all the same since they remind me of you glistening in beauty as you fall— twinkling with laughter as you dance— gracefully, ever so gracefully blown by the breeze you whisper just like those snowflakes of that sweet December blanketing everything in purity the fate of snowflakes however, is very sad for they melt away in the Sun and our love was that snowflake ever glistening, melting my heart into a puddle of kaleidoscopic teardrops they say no two snowflakes are alike, I beg to differ… for me, they are all the same ********************************** Submitted for Constance's Horses or Snowflakes contest :) Snowflake's the theme; written by me, nikko palmario (haha not kikko)

It's amazing how you can write such a beautiful poem about snowflakes, since it's not really snowy in your country. I really liked the beginning and ending, very creative and soothing write. Hugziz! :)

VERY interesting the way you argue how snowflakes are not different at all. Quite creative, as usual. But that is your trademark, Nikko! Thanks for your lovely comments. People are guessing my haiku is about a winter christmas tree and that is the title I wanted to give it which Deb would not allow. haha. My shoulder buring, but I gotta do my comments before I get upstairs. sign me... Obsessed!!

Hi Nikko. Maybe I should use mail? This is a wonderful poem, but so sad too. I saw my first snow only this year! I have been reading poems here for over a week because my good friend Chris A. told me about this site and wanted me to read some of his haiku and tanka. I saw your name a lot on comments, so ended up here. Now I finally register and post first poems, but read a blog that Chris is taking a break!!!? I am going to e-mail him and ask what is going on!<^_^>Phong

Another lovely sketch of your feelings of love and passion in the form of snowflakes and teardrops. This is the first time I am reading your Poems and have found them amazingly beautiful. My good wishes for your contest entry. Sorry, there has been some delay in coming to these beautiful poems. Love and best wishes....Ravindra. … kikko ngayong oktubre

Hmmm with the lovely sounds of the birds chirping? I'm not sure if I will go back to sleep again. My Saturday is going to be busy too but in a good way lol. I also want Andrea's pen. Do you think she'll give it to me? I will use my innocent smile ;)

I love this Nikko comparing a relationship that didn't have staying power to a snowflake. Good luck for the contest. ;) I am ok thanks just very tired, recovering from a hectic week at work ;( and then I am awake at 3am on a Saturday! How silly is that? Err you dont need my pen ;-) you are doing great with yours. Honoured by you adding it to your favs (",)
