On Your Independence Day

On Your Independence Day

Celebrating the day of independence
Is the most joyous moment
For the people of a land
Where the value of freedom
Dwells like a precious gem
In the hearts of every citizen.

From here the freedom of expression
Has started touching new heights
Spreading the beams of its light
Even in those corners of Earth
Where even the normal expressions 
Are considered a crime
And the masses are kept 
Even in controlled atmosphere, sky and airs
So that their heart may not 
Sing a song and they may not see
Any dreams of the new lights
Of the freedom of expressions and speech. 

Greetings to all my US friends from India
Which too enjoys 
The freedom of expressions and speech
Like any other developed countries.
