Many Vanished Pleasures of Life

Many vanished pleasures of Life Inspired by the Painting of Camille Pissarro - Rue de Gisors, 1868 Which can be seen on my face book time line as per following URL https://www.facebook.com/ravindrak.kapoor How simple and beautiful was life Many man decades ago, When wonders of today had not touched The peace corners of our minds. When travelling on foots and horses Was a passion of both men and women Whether they were young or old Or they were moving in a caravan. When reading and writing, painting and music And even carving on stone, used to give us The most serene and lofty pleasures of life When love and hatred too were there in life But they generally never used to enter In the sublime chambers of our hearts and soul. When simplicity of life, was a passion for attaining objectives of life, and To achieve the highest goals and ambitions, without sacrificing our thoughts and visions What a beautiful life it was When people had time for listening The music and tunes of others, as well, While playing their own to win some hearts. May be there was lack of many amenities of life However, unlike today, we had sincere and dependable friends to share our thoughts. Ravindra Kanpur India 22nd Jan. 2020

Enjoyed reading your work. Thanks for all the visits to my page. Sometimes we desire to go back and have a simple life but then would be able to handle that after experiencing our modern technologies?I have found that I can't seem to want to go back only to go forward. Sara

The Rue de Gisors painting has truly inspired you, Ravindra. Many years ago, when social media and technology were not yet rampant, life was simpler and yet more beautiful. Those were the days!! ~ Best regards, my friend.

You are absolutely right dear friend Paul. Simplicity of life always inspire me and perhaps to you and all those, who see this too busy a world busy only in their own world without any charm and care for others and nature. More on your page. With best wishes always...Ravindra 5th Feb 2020

I really liked reading this. However, I think even ages ago, there were still the age old problems of youth rebellion and animosity, gossip, etc. But you are right, simple times meant more attention paid to simple graceful beauties such as poetry
