Into the Sunset

into the sunset

I watched him walking away

as tears stained my face. . .

was the sky too beautiful

for him to look back at me?

The departing ponder of will he, will she. An image captured so many times historically. Nice one Andrea :)

If my guy was more interested in the sunset to take a glimpse back at me, I think I would begin looking for someone else. He may have been too shy. That would be my thought, in which he would be instantly forgiven. Haha Good poem!

What a beauty you have created Andrea like a wonderful painting with an innocent question revealing the love of your heart. It's a Gem my dear friend which has come from your pen and it would continue leave its impressions and light, whenever its reader would look towards the diminishing sky with a Sunset. The sweet question which you have asked would come on every God lover's lips. Great writes often comes the way you have sketched it. My good wishes for your contest entry. Your Poem deserves the 1st place. It goes as my fav. One. Love and best wishes always…Ravindra K Kapoor
