DEAR INHABITANTS

Dear Inhabitants,

 

            It is with a profound sorrow that I must inform you that the terms of our agreement have been seriously breached.  This being the case I must terminate your tenancy at will.  I must also reclaim my property from those who claim it as theirs.

 

            There will be no recourse either political or legal to dispute my decision. Nor will well meaning, but frivolous pandering, gain any favor or extension of occupancy.  Why would I extend to those delinquent in all aspects of their responsibility time to do further harm to me?

 

            You have trashed my woodlands, polluted my waters, despoiled my atmosphere, and

poisoned our relationship.  It appears that there is no chance of reconciliation.

 

            It was a noble experiment and I was warned about the complexity of “thinking” beings and their potential to become “educated”, to believe in gods and sciences.  I believed that my great expanses of beauty and barrenness would suffice to satisfy the fledgling groups.

 

            I have been proven wrong and so must protect those creatures to “dull” to think.

 

                                                

 

PLEASE VACATE THE PREMISES

So true John...on the brighter side, we've had the coldest winter in years here in Minnesota & minimal snow-cover...means parasitic insects couldn't survive, like horned beetles that eat tree bark & Asian beetles that eat the beans in my garden...macro, sucks big time... they (dudes in South America) want to copper mine a mile from our bwca (boundary waters canoe area, one of the worlds last wild places) Below The Water Table! & their track record is an accident in every operation they've owned worldwide!

Oh, this is excellent John, so right, so true. I often wonder if fate is the recipe, as the human race developed into an industrious arena, and science and its discoveries march on relentlessly. One day soon no doubt the final frontier, journey to the stars. Will earthling be subdued by Aliens, or the other way round, no doubt the ability to destroy will always be at the forefront, with the human race.
