KILL THE PARROT

The words had no meaning
Just echoes repeating in its head
An arrogant squawking
Plumped feathers
Repeating mindless mantra
It all ended
The day he repeated
The savage shouts of
Of wingless wannabes
KILL THE PARROT

Whoops. Even birds can have a faux pas moment. I like the levity.

What a wonderful yet sad write. The people out back have 2 large Parrot birds. I never see them just hear them from time to time. Have a lovely day writing away..............
