Brave like the sun Who always rises, despite The darkness With its black lies – its shadows Sadness like the cold gray clouds Hovering just beyond the mountains She is brave like the wind Blowing across the memories, Healing fears, erasing tears with gusts of hope, raging across the anxieties, the panic with sincerity, faith, amity Brave like the snow Breathing a chill through the heart Arriving on the birth of winter Despite the fact that it will melt When the sun shines its light Over the bitter whisper of its glistening She is brave like the prayer Seeking kindness, Despite the pain and sadness, The melancholy that colors the spirit In hues of doubt, faded grief Despite the desolation – she prays For hope, faith, love that believes Despite fears, tears The dejection of wretched years Brave like love – she goes on, moving Past the echoes of pain, the silhouettes of shame She continues – through everything!
