ANYHOW
Anyhow
Was just thinkin’
Which is not recommended
On rainy cold spring days
The pollen count is down
But who cares
Its too cold and wet to go outside
Dammit, the heat just kicked on
The friggin’ gas company
Wants to know why I use so much gas
We live in New England
Summer don’t start till June
And ends in late August
The ocean water is so cold
The dolphins don’t beach themselves
They sun bathe on the rocks
It was so chilly out today
I saw a squirrel with his hands in his pockets
Looking for its nuts
My windshield wiper blades
Dance across the glass like an old guy with one crutch
On days like this I play News Tennis
Y’know…switch back and forth
Between the Left and Right “news” people
Damn it’s hilarious
Like watching Pee Wee Herman’s
“I KNOW YOU ARE, BUT WHAT AM I” silliness
Well, gotta go….Trump’s on TV again
I believe the cabinet is trying to figure out
How to get him in a basement for few days.
Well, coffee cup’s empty
Gotta go….really
