Sanity at Last

Sanity is in fact the default setting When dust settles And dawn rises on a new day Sober minds and eyes Waking to see what needs being done The hard and often dirty work of life And not the wishful wistful dreams Of hope and change (11/7/24)

Congratulations on your POTW James - Indeed it's not a wishful wistful dream - we must all send our energy to make the change happen. Maria

A verse of wisdom James, sanity often tries to elude us in this ever changing world we live in right now. Congratulations to you on the honour of POTW. Tom

"And not the wishful wistful dreams Of hope and change" although they would probably not be too happy with me offering a wave of hope, but truth is so long as there is a smidgen of doubt it can always be construed as hope. Congratulations on your POTW, James!

That’s a great point Anaya! Where there is doubt there is an opening for hope (ie resistance to what simply is), yet as they say, the three pillars of zen are great faith, great doubt, great perseverance.
