DAWN

Dawn
Weakly
Tweaks the curve
Its chilly yawn
Turns off the street lights
As darkness returns home
Sparrows sing morning vespers
A coffee scented mist rises
Silently swirling atop the mug
Daybreaks pheromonal invitation

Dear John, This is beautiful and so creatively done too, one that i didnt want to end, and wished would go on and on, but its impressive how in few lines youv delivered one that is so very descriptive! Your use of the word "yawn" stood out the most for me! You definitely have a way with words! Thank you for joining! Congratulations on your win. Sending you light always
