There's good and bad with AI. As a creative, I'm not sure why you would want to let AI 'create' something and then label it as yours. I think that is very worrying. It is a tool, like a dictionary or a spell checker, or money is a tool. It's how people choose to use it. AI is problematic for that reason - its abuse and misapplication. It's like when autotune became the big thing in music. The AI issue is not being addressed adequately in some writing communities, if at all.

Love This... I have written a few on AI. A true writer needs a heart to write with. AI does Not have a heart so they can Not write they just copy. Have a wonderful/blessed day writing away................

John, your interpretation of AI is Actually Ingenious. You can call AI anything you choose. This is your write, so it's exactly right as you see it. ;-)

Plagiarism by its very definition insinuates a deliberate act of theft. Since AI is not sentient, it cannot be a plagiarist. Only a collection of circuits and microprocessors. Just a thought

thus, the "sentient" being would be a party to the plagiarism and thereby included in the pending electronically filed legal action
