You Dont Know Me
You looked at me in that court room like I was nothing.
As if I was somehow below you.
Like a piece of excrement, you trod in and scraped of from beneath your shoe,
But you don’t know me
Or what I’ve been through,
For every word I speak the pain is always true,
From my poems about the depressing times,
The anger and despair written in the rawest rhymes,
My suffering and struggles as I walked the hardest lines
The words of love that sent
tingles down my spine
But you chose to listen to this man’s and his lies
and not believe my truth
As I looked you in the eyes
