Short poems say what need to be said in a few words. Sometimes it is hard to find the words you want, however, short poems have a few well-chosen words that quickly get to the point. Poetry can be brief and have the impact of embellished writes. Sometimes what you need to say can be very concise and refined, and still have great impact on readers. Short poems often show that time and energy were put into every word.
