Folding Time into Origami Blooms

here I stand waiting
balanced on the edge of time
past draped at my back
the future creases forward
a bloom yet to be folded

creases cross the sheet
the past bends, then re-creases
future folds to match
both entwine though never meet
a puzzle time enlightens

like petals rising
origami takes its form
each wedge takes its place
a flower blooms in the room
unfurling in happenstance

paper remembers
each

Time flies

‘Twas just yesterday I learned about joy. 
You became mine and I became yours – 	 
so happy for a girl instead of boy.	 
An instant love bonded us to the core. 
 
Seconds, hours, days and years quickly fly.
Crawling and talking, walking and running – 		
you grew so fast, past hijinks and lies,

The Silent KISS

The silent kiss can touch your heart,
a heart that is very far apart.
       I kissed your letters then licked the glue,
       as I sent all my love to you.

The Loss

Dream time, lazy and long, is over
It lasted a generation
But real life
Came and stole the colors
Home-baked bread, no more
Everything is easy, shop-bought
and taste of the average.
I know of a woman who stole
Flowers for her son’s coffin
It stood there in the snow
Grave diggers on strike.
But a bouquet doesn’t
Mind, know why they are needed

Seven Hundred Septembers

Musings on the façade of Seville Cathedral

How patiently they suffer, these old saints!
Their sandstone features, crumbled, vague,
some noses gone (some medieval ague,
or Time's cruel drip?) they offer no complaints.

Stranded seven centuries on this reef,
they bake, and wait resignedly, begowned,
for bell-tower shade slowly to inch around.
Do bas-reliefs experience relief?

peach sunset

peach hibiscus drapes 
over the blue horizon 
toads soon leave their logs

Time Travelling

On such days
what holds my senses 
to the world loosens 
and all becomes a background 
blur, a kind of peripheral haze 
as seen through a rain glazed
window to that place ‘out there’. 
My mind drifts and soon

I am here where time
has stood still and a hot
summer sun prints the cool shade
of almond trees on ground

Theirs No Time For Us

Theirs No Time For Us 
Time is fading away 
So many burdens to carry 
The hour-glass is draining 
Our relationship is dying 
Our bodies are decaying 
Our minds are forgetting 
Our youthful days are gone 
There's no time for us 
We took each other for granted 
We can’t live forever 
So many smiles left behind

Ode to Time

Nothing matters more than time.
It's wealth power, it's everything and more.

Hope that at the end
I’ve not left anything on the table
that all was said and done
and I’d lived life to its fullest

Unpredictably Predictable

Feelings, like storms, disrupt the inner peace and leave the future uncertain

Hopes, like mountains, seen and far away to reach

Desires, like eternal, keeps running and stop’s nowhere 

Thoughts, like lightning, shine, disappear, and keeps coming 

Tears, like rains, clear the clouds and leave it’s 
Sign

Life, like ocean meets river, people comes from various channels with

After a day filled with rhyme,
Storm the Squirrel found time, sublime.
    In a tub full of lathering foam,
    with effervescent glass she imbibed at home.
Sipping champagne, enjoying her poetic prime!

With bubbles that danced all around,
