A Little Reminder

You aren’t
a burden,
you are
a blessing.

The World's Most Destructive Chemical Experiment

The feel of a touch,
the sound of a cry,
the joy of hello,
the sorrow of
goodbye.

We entangle, we combine
we fall apart -
but in the end,
we get up and
we try, try, try,

to form a connection
that doesn't end in absence.

It all ends
for those already absent.

Be present,
if not for others,
then for yourself.

Untitled

You aren’t
a burden,
you are
a blessing.

Shooting Stars Are Exactly As You Are

Behind every person’s soul,
a universe quietly resides.
And I still find it strange
that despite that cosmic brilliance,
we circle back to fixate
on surface-level, fleeting things.
Things that could never touch
the depth of our own true radiance.

We never notice our own
beauty—isn’t that beautiful?

Pricelessness

Each day is priceless;
We can treasure memories
Of both weal and woe.

the parable

the ocean and the cellphone
the child hears only the ocean
the elder fool is without the hearing of the elder moon
ones tide returns
when one ends the foolishness

undoing the letters takes you forward
the writing is decisive victory over saddness

Hope

There is, there must be
Ample light at the end of
The tiring tunnel.

Make Up Your Life

Make up your mind this very day,
Let no dream drift or fade away.
Put on primer, smooth and bright,
Lay foundation, set it right.

Shape your path with steady hand,
Frame your goals and take a stand.
Contour your days with light and shade,
Highlight the highs, let worries fade.

Blend with patience, take your time,
Let wisdom guide—its touch sublime.
Dust off doubts like setting powder,
Step out boldly, speak up louder.

Line your lips with words that shine,
Colour them bold with love divine.
Glow with grace, let fears take flight,
Walk with purpose—chase the light.

The Light Within

Beneath the stars, the darkness weeps,
A silence vast, where shadow sleeps.
But in the heart, a spark takes flight,
A soul begins embodying light.

It whispers soft, a warming glow,
Through trials fierce, it starts to grow.
A lantern bright, in tempest's gale,
A beacon strong when others fail.

Through cracks of doubt, it dares to shine,
A truth that’s pure, a flame divine.
No chains can bind, no storm consume,
The light within that breaks the gloom.

So rise, and let the world behold,
The light you are, so fierce and bold.
For every soul, no matter small,
Can blaze a path, and light us all.

Glide

Eyes open wide
She checks the clock
Five more minutes
Is what she wants
What she needs
Is a greater pull

Feet touch the floor
Toes curl
Big stretch
Eyes half open

Light flicks on
Splash of water
Thinks of bed
Teeth brushed
Hair put up
Eyes open again

Clothes laid out
The night before
One sleeve
Then the next
Tired eyes
Start to progress

Stairs creak
Knees crack
She’s almost there
One more step
Door opens
Cool air across her face
Eyes wide open

She feels alive
She feels free
She glides

Start Fresh, Start New, Start You

Look down;
 you are way better
 than many critters.

Look in the mirror;
you have more power
and survived the tough hours

Look at your home;
you are super duper,
you made this one special.

Look around;
you are far better,
than many flimsy folks.

Now, stop crying and
start relishing...
For the world is small...
Very small...
But the joys abound,
all around.

Now, stop complaining
and start enjoying...
For the earth is pure,
and so are our souls.

Just dust away the grudges
and start anew,
all new...
all pure
all true...

Start Fresh,
Start New....
All pure...
All true....

Premium Member Hey Ho Does An Octopus Know POTD

hey ho
does an octopus know
how to juggle with eight cups and saucers
and the fish watching him
while the elephants swim
then he juggles with a turtle and tortoise

then ho hey
does the octopus say
I can do this all day round in circles
but an ache in my arm
in my arm, in my arm
and so on through all eight tentacles

so hey ho
let the octopus go
to bed nice and early with honey
to rest and recline
for a considerable time
so he doesn’t feel worn out and funny

ho hey
and a new octopus day
refreshed and all ready to juggle
so with cups and with saucers
a turtle and tortoise
but the elephant’s splash makes him struggle

hey hey
that’s not fair that’s not fair
so the octopus went somewhere quieter
where he practised a lot
and a lot more than not
and so now he’s a pro entertainer

Determination

Dogs shall keep barking;
Still, never let them vex you;
It's your life, for sure.

A rising soul

It was once lost in the cold,
From the fragments of a broken past.
With each broken piece,
A phoenix hás finally emerged.
It pulled out from aghast.

With every step taken, it found a renewed Voice.
In a whispered cry, it found a heartfelt choice.
The whispers of the heart that spreads out.

A spirit that soars, with light that shines,
The kind of light that never runs out.
A soul is rising!!!
Above all aches,
From a night of terror, to a new dawn

It's spirit is aligned,
Only the echoes of hope
The echoes of might
Remains!!!

Top of the World

My life’s turned around
Where once, I was weak
I’ve felt strength from somewhere
Now I’ve hit my peak

Rising from the depths of nowhere
I've started to find my feet
No more drowning in self pity
No more anger like a beast

I won’t be going to go back
To that person I used to be
I'm my real self again
I feel so alive, so free

I possess new energy inside
No more pain, I shall seek
With my head held high
A clearer path I can now see

I'm now standing on top of the world
Reaching up thousands of feet
I can reach the clouds,
The moon, the sun and the stars
To which I now greet

The sense of freedom
I have gained and I have won
Positivity now rains on me
I’m now whole, I’m now as one
I won't be hiding anymore
I will never turn and run.
It's now my time to live life
It's my time to have some fun
