My Old Man

Dear old man,
My quill quivers.
How do I glorify you,
With only ink, not gold?

Oh lady Calliope,
Lift my soul.
A pin drowned in an ocean of words.
Guide my conscience with notions,
Dearth of words I face,
To sculpt my father's grandeur.

A shrunken, grainy face is all that's left.
Struggles, unparalleled for eternity
Spine bows, for the weight he bears.
A warrior bending his knees to fate.

Wounds he has procured,
A soldier indisputably.
Laments the injustice once and twice,
Yet, prefers seclusion.
No more wars he seeks to wage,
On his own kinds.

The past shoots arrows at him,
Bleeding eyes and shattered bones.
How can one slip such agony?
And forgive his enemy.

Yet, still, Calliope,
Though you guide.
The shaking of my hand,
Hardly lets me carve his story.
Despite your hand over mine,
How do I shape an epic?

A Crown of Beauty

We serve a God who watches over us,
A gracious God who moves on our behalf.
He dwells within, His presence glorious -
Our hearts His home, our shield, and guiding staff.

He lives in high and holy places bright,
Yet walks with those contrite and lowly in spirit
So, stay connected - cling to Him with all our might,
And we shall rise above the darkened heart

To see things from divine’s perspective clear
Is truly the heart and vision of a seer.
Bring emotions to full alignment near
With Christ’s own promises hold them clear.

Be strong, courageous! Let our lives shine bright,
A crown of beauty with His redeeming light.

A Light Along the Way

"Sometimes the smallest act of kindness becomes the brightest light along our darkest road."

He is one in a million--
a hand that reached out
when the world was silent,
and when kindness was rare.

Reg(Rej), though we have never met,
I feel your goodness
in the way it touched my path.
When I had nowhere to go,
you were there...
proof that the Lord sends hearts
to lift the fallen when hope runs thin!

For twenty-one nights, I walked alone
smiling at strangers…
never letting them see the weight I carried.

My knees ached,
my feet swollen,
my body trembling on the edge of collapse.
And still I told myself:
no one could run this race for me.

So I pressed forward
clutching courage in the dark,
holding on to the feeble flame of hope
that someone, somewhere
would understand without judgment.

Then came you...
A quiet proof that mercy endures,
that kindness still weaves its way through the dark
and even when the night is heaviest,
daylight will arrive.

When I finally reach my destination..
I will turn my face to the sun
and keep this treasure close:
that somewhere along the way home,
I found you...
and kept you in my heart.

Damn, Its Her

I saw you once,
and the thought of you refused to leave.
The day was fleeting,
yet I wished the same for the night,
just to let the echo of you stay with me a little longer

I wrote you poems,
scattered my heart across notes,
believing I had mastered the assignment.
But no.....
it was your love language
I was only beginning to learn.

This is different.
Unpolished, unborrowed
Its raw from the depths of my heart.

Oh, when I met your eyes,
heard your voice,
felt your touch,
I thought I had tasted life’s sweetest wonders.
Then you smiled
And the world itself seemed to pause.

Damn.
The world confessed,
This girl is out of this world.
Beauty beyond dispute,
grace beyond argument.

Love at first sight?
Perhaps.
But whatever it is,
it feels eternal,
& to me it feels just right.

You write the script
You can go to the drawing board anytime

You can live in darkness
Or walk in the light

You can live in sadness
Or be happy with life

You can be disappointment
Or you can rejoice

You can live in defeat
Or be triumphant

You can be mediocre
Or climb to greatness

You can travel the easy road
Or take the path less traveled

You can lay in bed
Or you can grind

You can except things the way they are
Or can change them all

YOU CHOSE

Our paths crossed for a reason,
Even if this were to be our last season,
Just remember how feelings spiralled within
Our minds, as we recall how it's been.

Our souls became intertwined
As we made love so refined.
You made my Kundalini awaken.
Your words made me feel so taken.

Our energies spiralled upward together
In our moments of mutual pleasure.
I know in my soul, we've met before.
We'll meet in the hereafter more and more.

Our paths formed a helix,
Evolving our souls like a phoenix.
Our paths shall be illuminated
By Gods, 'cause we'll soon be awakened.

TO AND IN THE TASKING OF EQUITY

Come, let us master the needed strength
And determination, required to do that
Which is needed to be done here
For none of us can be excused
And are all God-charged with
Seeing that there will be
True evolving equity
Developing in this
Blessed land
God has
Given
You
And
Me
To build a nation
Of true equanimity
And living democracy:-

Premium MemberOur Claim to Fame

“death approaches but we have no regret ~
when God questions us, we will stand erect”

When Death resolutely comes
With his deadly summons
Tarry not like a galley slave
But like a courteous host behave.

Do not waver and do not droop
As if you are to be hung on a loop
Never dread lying under the dust
Within the narrow vault thrust.

When God questions us, let us stand erect
Our life should be worthy that we won’t have any regret
Obey God’s command and place Him above all
Love your neighbour with all your heart and soul.

If so, when ousted out of terrestrial space
We will be enfolded into God’s embrace
Know, it is only when seeds rot
That fresh and florid lives sprout

When death comes and it’s time to go
Strut like an indomitable foe
With swinging hands and head held high
To be welcomed by angels of the sky.

There will be the music of clanging cymbals
And the rising rhythm of sounding bells
With all claim, into a kingdom, bright and cheerful
We shall enter, that is far radiant and blissful.

When sun was at its highest,
midst the burning heat of noon,
'neath the shady bough we kissed,
one heady day late June.

A pledge of love undying
you promised faithfully;
vowing that your heart,
you'd give to only me.

As we spoke of passion,
your hands and mine explored,
desire filled my soul,
the heat inside me soared.

We came as one together,
beneath a sky of blue.
Our hearts and souls connected,
my body joined to you.

Our love we did surrender,
on that heady day late June,
when sun was at its highest,
midst the burning heat of noon.

September 9th

(Voices of Galileo & Pythagoras)

On this day—
September 9th, 2025,
an echo rose from the ninth portal of the universe.

Galileo spoke:
"Mathematics is the language
with which God has written the universe."

The proof was everywhere—
the ninth month,
the ninth day,
the year 2025
folding into the number 9.

A trinity appeared:
999.
And when I added 9 + 9 + 9 = 27—
it fell again to 9.

A cycle completed.
A circle closed.

Galileo’s voice trembled:
"This happens once in nine years.
The world has finished one chapter—
and now, it begins another."

I asked—
“What does this cycle mean for humanity?”

He answered:
"Nine is compassion.
Nine is wisdom.
Nine is completion—
and awakening.
It calls the soul to service,
to live for the greater good."

Then Pythagoras appeared,
his face burning with sorrow and light:
"The world was in meditation—
now it awakens.
The true hearts of compassion
will rise for humanity’s sake."

We raised our eyes to the stars.
They shimmered as if lifting glasses with us.

And we whispered:
“September 9th, 2025—
the day of 999.
A cycle ends.
A cycle begins.
Cheers.

                           Have No Fear

When I was girl, in Catholic primary school,
I dared not question a thing, I thought how uncool!
But as I grew, I met immensely brilliant, guiding folk.
They gave my mind, atomic, gigantic welcome, jolts!

Those jolts still live and shine brightly in me today.
I never reverted again to create things in others’ ways.
And,,,so i no longer go sniffing like a pup for approval.
No pats on my head, no~ it is all outer drivel!

I feel like a bird, freed from a rusty, old cage..
I learned self-acknowledgement is truly God’s page!
Stand up for yourself, I am not kidding.
Writing to please others is a false and dull bidding.

Poets may avoid you, do count that as a huge win!
You were not created to be another’s poetry twin.
Make a difference with your valuable words…
Sometimes, they may have to be used as swords.

Stand up, be brave, we only go around life once
Stand for good, may your words, fill the air with a punch!

Word of Our Testimony

Like boats that float upon the ocean wide,
We dwell within this world, yet not its tide.
The vessel sinks when water finds its way,
So too our souls, if worldly winds betray.

We are in the world, but not of worldly mold,
Our citizenship in heaven we uphold.
To guard our hearts from shipwreck and despair,
We must control desire and be aware.

Emotions yield to God’s communion deep,
Where Father’s wisdom wakes us from our sleep.
We gain His view - heaven’s perspective true -
And see beyond what earthly eyes construe.

By Word of our testimony, we arise,
Anchored in Truth that never sinks nor dies.

Look at the Birds

Remember well the words that Christ has said:
'Look at the birds, they neither sow nor reap,
Yet by His Hand they daily still are fed' -
Our Father keeps awake while the sparrows sleep.

It pleases God to meet our every need,
As we draw near through prayer and Holy Word.
In time with Him, our trusting hearts are freed,
And faith responds when His command is heard.

We launch in faith, obeying His decree,
And learn how true our God remains, how kind.
Faith does not shift with each calamity,
Nor bend to fleeting feelings of the mind.

Its anchor holds in Scripture’s firm accord,
The inner voice - stirring – ‘Speak Lord’.

Forget It

People with good memory have a tough time forgetting,
And those with hearts attuned to others’ pain
Find wounds endure, their souls in silence fretting -
Emotions hurt, yet healing seems in vain.

Like bees, learn to take the honey sweet
From blooming flowers in joy’s bright repose.
Let past remain behind, no more repeat;
Reach forth to what before us gently grows.

Press toward the prize - the high and holy call
That God has placed within each soul’s design.
Forget, forgive, let anger’s shadow fall,
Lest covenant blessings we undermine.

We will not miss the prize, nor let it pass -
But live in all that God has willed for us.
