Where the Thorns Remember Me

Date: June 17, 2025

I wandered through a bleeding dusk,
the wind forgot my name.
A rose was growing from the dust—
I reached, and it became

the fog that hums like swallowed screams.
My lungs forget to breathe.
I taste old blood beneath my tongue.
Each petal cuts me in my sleep—
what did I dare believe?

Each step I took was stitched with fear,
my lungs too tired to cry.
The thorns grew taller year by year—
no stars remained in sky.

The rose I found—its crimson face
still beautiful, still wrong.
It bled me when I touched its grace
and whispered, “You belong.”

I walk through air too thin to hold.
The sky is ash and rust.
I don’t know if I’m growing old—
or simply turning dust.

'Will you remember me?'

“Reya..
I’ve been through it all with you;
whether day or night, time has flew.
It’s only between us,
as we have been seized through this fuss.
And as you’ve try to survive on this wreck, Earth,
my assistance has been required since birth.
Confusion shall course through your innocent soul, but
your youthful being has to be in control.
Reya..
I need to leave you.
I bear a future which takes priority
see, in my life, it’s majority.
Therefore, I shall depart,
but please keep me in your heart.
Reya..
I know how much you've suffered;
and my leave will forever keep the pain unbuffered.
I know that when you were upset,
you’d calm down after talking to me with no regret.
Please just be okay;
remember, coping badly isn’t the way.
Reya..
Please forgive me for doing this,
to you I am not trying to dismiss.
I understand if you’ll hate me,
but it’s for my sake, I guarantee.
I promise I’ll store our memories in my soul,
for without them I will never be whole.
Reya..
…Reya?”

Premium Member Do You Remember Me In Your Memories Alzheimer

My dad lay in bed, ready to go to sleep.
I asked him "Dad, do you remember me?"
" I was your daughter. Your only child.
Just take your time Dad, think for a
while."
" Look at these pictures of you and me,
do they spark your memory?"
" These pictures that you see, is a
birthday party you threw for me."
She held him close in disbelief and asked
over again. "Do you remember
me?"
" She said look closely, do you recall?"
A puzzled look on Dad's face, said it all.
 He responded. " I'm, sorry honey, I wish I
could. His sad response she understood.
 His memories just disappeared. Leaving
her with heartfelt tears.
Alzheimer's disease has found it's way.
Much to a loving daughter's, great dismay.
Her Dad doesn't know her anymore. Now
she carries special memories of him and
her.

Remember Me

O Lord, I cry to You, from the depths of my soul,
Remember me, dear Jesus, as the good thief made whole.
He sought Your mercy, on the cross, in his final hour,
And You, O Lord, granted him paradise, in Your loving power.

The other thief, with a heart full of pride,
Scoffed at Your power, and Your love, and he died.
His cry, a challenge, to Your authority and might,
But You, O Lord, remained silent, in the face of his plight.

Teach me, O Lord, to pray, with a humble heart,
To seek Your mercy, and Your love, from the very start.
May my cry, be like the good thief's plea,
And may I, like him, experience Your loving kindness, and be set free.

For You, O Lord, are a God, of mercy and love,
Slow to anger, and abounding in kindness, from above.
You hear the prayers, of the humble and the broken,
And You, O Lord, lift them up, and their hearts are unspoken.

So I will pray, O Lord, with a heart that's true,
And seek Your mercy, and Your love, anew.
May my prayer, be like incense, that rises high,
And may You, O Lord, hear my cry, and pass me by.

May poppies grow, row on row, for all of those who faced the foe.

I heard the news that you’d arrived
My heart was full, many tears I cried
I vision you in your mother’s arms
Peaceful in her motherly charms.

It’s hard to be miles across the sea
When home is where I wish to be
I will carry you in heart to the day
War ends and I am home to stay.

If I never get to meet you, my son
It was for you I fought on and on
I did my best but didn’t see
War could be the end of me.

Lying here in a hospital bed
Slowly I feel my life on earth ebb
I ask God above one request
Let us meet before I’m laid to rest.

Remember me

Remember me when I'm not here
My love is always yours
Forever I am near

The power of my love for you
My love is always yours
Is hard to misconstrue

Unmitigated love so sheer
My love is always yours
Remained connection clear

Remember me when I'm not here
My love is always yours
Unmitigated love so sheer

Remember me in shadows of the past
with blinders off and heart agape
recall me in the morning's dawn recast
Alongside yesterdays of sweet escape
beneath a burning sun as we took shape

Remind me of the kids that we once were
bring image to my mind of all that was
Mention all the silly things you did to stir
my eager soul before the days of Oz,
before the days of medicated gauze.

Bring awareness to this fading flower
take her to the garden make her smile
For in every vanishing hour
lives the blossom of yesterday's mile
remember her, love her, all the while

Oh Love If You Remember Me

Oh, love, if you remember me, 'tis true,
A faded echo whispered soft and blue.
Like distant music, on the wind, it floats,
A melody of moments, shared in secret notes.

Did stolen glances, laughter light and free,
Leave any trace, within your memory?
Or have the seasons, with their changing tide,
Erased the footprints where our love did hide?

But hope persists, a flicker in the night,
Oh, love, if you remember me, ignite

Premium Member Remember Me When I'm Gone

I succeeded, I failed, I tried

I defeated, I lived, I died

The once passionate flames are embered

I wonder if I'll be remembered

Till time scars the mountains on high

Till the stars fall out of the sky

When night says goodbye to the dawn

Please remember me when I'm gone

Remember Me

Will you remember me
Have I touched your heart in anyway
Did I leave a lasting impression
On any given day
Did I make you smile
Did I lend a helping hand
When you needed comforting
Was I there to understand
Did I come when ere’ you called me
No matter what the time
Did I reach out and hold onto you
When your hill was hard to climb
Were the words left unspoken
Or did they roll off of my tongue
Did I tell you that I loved you
Or was the melody unsung
I hope that I have helped you
And left a memory
Something you can cling to
As you remember me

Premium Member Promise You'll Remember Me

Do you remember when the walls
Shifted their zig zaggy colors.
Do you remember when our wails
Of laughter went on for hours.

Do you remember when we discovered
How similar we were to each other.
Do you remember after we recovered,
We learned what we suffered only made us better.

Do you remember the rainbow after the storm,
When I was so afraid I hilariously hid away.
Do you remember how your house was so warm,
When we sat in your cozy hideaway.

Do you remember me at times,
Especially in moments of glee.
Do you remember our times,
And if not, promise you'll remember me.

Forget Me, Remember Me

you carry me with you in your heart but
you cant help to forget me, remember me
you said i was all you ever needed but
all you do is forget me, remember me

I am sitting on our door house waiting on your return
guess am out of my mind because you forget me, remember me
yesterday i thought of you while the clouds grew angry and darker but
i think it is not the same way with you, you always forget me, remember me
i will hold you when you get back to me even when
you forget me, remember me

I am going to cherish you my love no matter what happens
you forget me, remember me because i will always be in your heart
i do not care about the many times you forget me, remember me
i will always carry you with me,my first love.

Remember Me Not

Remember me not in the stillness of my breath,
Remember me not in the sadness of my death;
Instead Remember me in the life we shared together,
And Instead remember me in all that we have weathered;
Remember me not in the quiet of my presence,
Remember me not in the stillness of my essence;
Instead remember me in the moments that we shared,
And instead remember me and know I’ve always cared;
Remember me not in this lifeless mass of skin,
And remember me not as frail and sickly thin;
Instead remember me as you see flowers in the spring,
And instead remember me when you hear my song and sing;
And remember me not in the hours of your grieving,
And remember me not on the day you saw me leaving;
Instead remember me when you are feeling all alone,
And instead remember me and know I am happy that I'm home.

as I write
I write not to fill
this sheet of paper
but I write for the future
so that they will remember
for I write like it is forever

so I write
as I write
I write not for a dime
but for you to know my time
that in my prime
will I still write

As I write
I write because it is my right
these are not just words
but they are the light
illuminating the dark
and making everything bright

so I write
as I write
I write for the name
I write for the fame
I write so that life
will never be the same
