Premium Member Sound Bites Trimeric

If life were a musical, a melodic symphony
heightened emotion would sing to the sky.
A ripple that slices into bright thunder,
piano keys would demand you play on.

Heightened emotion would sing to the sky
full of rich vibrato echoing on the wind.
The choir’s call to join and become one.

A ripple that slices into bright thunder,
that harsh attack would take center stage.
It brings about a daft drumbeat at sunrise.

Piano keys would demand you play on,
let every ounce of blood be released
as top hits drip into golden sound bites.

Yodelers

Tanto tempo fa e molto lontano
davvero
instruments from all four orchestral families: strings, woodwinds, brass, and percussion.

Elegy in Pink

The piano holds its breath,
roses finish the melody…
softness where sound once lived,
a hush more tender
than applause,
yet louder than loss.

Does go together
As the music plays
Words for poetry
Fills the page with words

As I am listening
To the calming sound
Then I close my eyes
Relaxed the words
On a blank page
My pen is flowing

Until the words are
Written across the page
My pen flows with words
Till is is all written
On a blank page
My pen slowly stops

To be yours Strings and reeds

Far as the eyes can see
Nearer than what is far-aeay
The love that has cum+for you
Iß the love for us
What to say
To make you come again
To make you
Come back to anyware you are
Cause looniness is such a
Sad affair
Come back to me again, and ah again
I wanna be
Anywhere you are

See I don't love you
And I don't need you
I want you
I am just
To proud to begin
To far down is the way you go
When you don't care anymore
Find someone who cares
The one
Who say there be there

Ain't no world for me
Without you
Without you
What's ah man
To do
Tell me baby
Tell me baby
Learning to love you
Is learning you
What about me
What's is it gonna be
Tell me you care
Learning to need you
Cause I love you and need you
Tell me you care
Say you'll always
Be there
Yeah. Yeah, yeah!
Tell me you really love
Me baby
Tell me you
You really want me baby
Baby. Baby
Ooh baby
I love you
I really do

To be yours Strings and reeds

Far as the eyes can see

What we gone do

I don't understand this trend
I don't like where we're going
In.
Somebody who don't like me and
Never did
Wanna see me baffled when she
has her first kid
To be the there common ground
To be in luxury when I am unwhined
Don't wanna be the bruint of your
Jokes
At least with her I have hope

Babe ain't no dispute when I am with you
Adagio Bassia see-ah
There ain't no dispute
Tell that puke-fool of yours to leave me alone
Like the Dells said when all the Goodies Gone
Is it shame on me
Want you in my corner
That's how a true love should be
Nah but you got them phrases
Like I am a ho
It like this
I that and simple
Get it right to app the oah
Let your ex be your coach

Let say it's so like it's ah movie
Got your grooving stufguess you tryna groove me
To marry me takes
Ah thyme o fair
Couple shall we
Groove me if you dare
I want your baby
Cum inside me
Don't that sound real crazy
Spent my thyme wiff you
Tell me what's next
Tell me what we going do

Midnight Lullaby

Midnight Lullaby
by Michael R. Burch

I.
A measureless rhythm rules the night—
few have heard it,
but I have shared it,
and its secret is mine.

To put it into words
is as to extract the sweetness from honey
and must be done as gently
as a butterfly cleans its wings.

But when it is captured, it is gone again;
its usefulness is only
that it lulls to sleep.

II.
So sleep, my love, to the cadence of night,
to the moans of the moonlit hills'
bass chorus of frogs, while the deep valleys fill
with the nightjar’s shrill, cryptic trills.

But I will not sleep this night, nor any …
how can I—when my dreams
are always of your perfect face
ringed by soft whorls of fretted lace,
framed by your tear-drenched pillowcase?

"Midnight Lullaby" has been set to music by the award-winning New Zealand composer David Hamilton.

Hang On, Hang On

I’ve been playing for years,
well aware of your fears,
most don’t make it, that’s clear,
but they say we’ve cracked the top ten;
a struggle it’s become,
but it always was one,
finally, it seems done,
downloads paying off dividends.

Hang on, hang on,
babe we’re almost there,
hang on, hang on,
we’ll get there.
So close to it
you better prepare,
hang on, hang on,
it’s right there!

Take a chance on my dream,
not a sure thing, it seemed,
of the crop I’m not the cream,
spent so many ate nights away.
I know you could have left,
parents said that was best,
maybe we passed the test,
we’re coming on a good payday!

Hang on, hang on,
babe we’re almost there,
hang on, hang on,
we’ll get there.
So close to it
you better prepare,
hang on, hang on,
it’s right there!

All that went wrong,
we’ve been waiting for so long,
all my mistakes,
challenges along the way.
all of this risk,
making sure I earned this,
breakthrough, at last,
no more days of living fast!

Hang on, hang on,
babe we’re almost there,
hang on, hang on,
we’ll get there.
So close to it
you better prepare,
hang on, hang on,
it’s right there!

Premium Member The Shadow Of His Wings

In the shadow of His wings He will hide me
In the shadow of His wings he will hide
deep inside
when the morning sun arrives
it is time
when the sun has filled the sky
its a sign
In the shadow of his wings he will hide me
In the shadow of His wings he will hide
deep inside
when the evening curtain falls
it is time
when our words have failed to say
its a sign
In the shadow of your wings I dare to hide
in teh shadow of your wings, deep inside....

One Toke Over the Line

Sometimes an obituary
Adds some background fact
That brings laughter, not the way
You’d think a reader would react.

Tom Shipley’s obit clarified
That he was feeling fine,
Perhaps a bit too much, when we went
One toke past the line.

A friend gave him some weed to smoke
Backstage between two sets
And warned him more than just two hits
Might cause him some regrets.

He didn’t listen, spurring him
To state the way he felt,
Yet a song was born resulting from
The hand that he was dealt.

What cracked me up, though, was to learn
Some clean-cut duo sang
That song on Lawrence Welk’s show;
Unfamiliar with the slang

Of the drug world, Welk declared
“A modern spiritual” was heard
Because within the toke line, to
“Sweet Jesus” was referred.

I wonder now if Lawrence Welk,
So strait-laced way back then,
Ever learned what he endorsed
And why folks shouted out, “Amen!”
