Sky woos me endlessly
with storms that drum like passion,
and dawns that blush like desire.
Playing a thousand silver violins
pulling strings from clouds.
Streaks letters in fire,
burning across the dark.
He sets a table of galaxies,
bowls of ripe suns,
platters of planets
and asks me for a date.
When he leans closer,
the horizon bends.
I keep staring as he changes clothes.
I am already stolen
my love written
on his boundless skin.
A warm greeting
A subtle gesture
A pleasant glance
A brief exchange
Then —
Au revoir
I wish, before I go to hell
you’d meet me once
I’ve faded from that world
yet these little things whisper back to you
Been the wrong one all my life
but you poured me alcohol without prejudice
Beneath my necklace, my heart beats for you
the nights stand witness to my prayers.
I wish, before I go to hell
you’d meet me once
Ask me how I am
how I’ve survived without you
Hold me in your arms
and make me laugh with your words
I sleep and wake up
days are passing by
and so are my interests
I don’t want to be ideal
cause I know the cost of being perfect.
My love has biceps, ’cause it lifted me up
when nothing else could
I create art like you, hoping it’ll be enough…
but I’m incomplete without you
so how can my art ever be whole?
I wish, before I go to hell
you’d meet me once
Ask me how I am
how I’ve survived without you
Hold me in your arms
and make me laugh with your words
A taste for whispered eloquence,
I’m mesmerized by your reply.
One octave above the silence
a taste for whispered eloquence.
Such sensual self indulgence,
to inhale the words that you cry.
A taste for whispered eloquence,
I’m mesmerized by your reply.
The snowy eve’s bearded rain fell
Voluminous e’er the winds swell
From thine tresses shook each clinging flake
As we walk beside the icy lake
Mittens betwixt borrowing hands
Rosen cheeks baring golden strands
A gentle sweep and light caress
Though our free hearts we both oppress
The hallowed moon bids me confess
My love for you.
In this starry, cold Night
My black Candle Burns.
I gaze into the Flame to see You
I touch the Fire to reach your Heart.
A Spark starts to Flicker,
And expands into Infinity.
I Now meet you in the Dark Unknown,
And smell your mystic scent,
To read your ancient soul.
Through Aeons we have wandered,
Occasionally our paths have crossed.
In Different Roles and Different Places,
We have lifted each other's veils.
Only some mere seconds,
Sufficed to see eternity in each other's Eyes.
The Ultimate Everlasting Being,
Recognized through Magic of the Two.
I once dated a Xennial and then a Zillennial,
Finally found the greatest fellow millennial.
He's got a "I can fix her" type of energy,
While I have a "I'll show him" audacity.
Though all the times we spend together
Feel like dreams, I feel we'll last forever.
I adore him without too tight a tether.
I remind him he's more than a mere lover.
He makes me feel young and so nostalgic.
He gently holds my heart, it's like magic.
I hold his heart with words of affirmation.
I heed his words for my transformation.
Two millennials in love, Atlanteans reborn,
Healing our hearts from all former scorn.
We fondly recall the world as it was before.
Our old souls always rediscovering more.
Firstly I loved a Libran who seemed so fair,
He lives his life with a certain kind of flair,
Yet over time showed he never would care
About the ways I would leave my heart bare.
Secondly I loved a Geminian man so couth
He listened to me even when I spoke truth.
But after few years, he took me for granted,
I felt a sudden silence left my heart slanted.
Thirdly, finally, I met an Aquarian so perfect,
I fallen so fast for his sweet, cool intellect.
I love him for all of what he is and has been,
I want to be in his future in which we win.
I loved through all three air element signs,
I indeed tried each like they were fine wines.
But now I see, fate was simply preparing me
To be mature enough for my true destiny.
The devil says
“You know how romance is
You don’t get no second chances”
God says
“You will get many second chances
I will release you from the stanchions”
The first notice among the silent books.
The subsequent ones among the smiling books.
Hesitant glances among the nervous books.
Brief exchanges among the longing books.
The one page between them all.
A recollection of familiarity unable to recall.
Who, where, when?
And why?
Wondering.
The thoughts of the one page among the silent books.
The thoughts of the one page among the smiling books.
The thoughts of the one page among the nervous books.
The thoughts of the one page among the longing books.
A single star,
a pinprick in the dark.
It doesn't shout, it never blares,
it simply hangs there knowing.
We look up lost
and in that silent knowing,
Find the will to steer.
#Please it's a Star/Steer poem
There is no dragon's fiery breath,
no black knight's sword that deals death,
no creature of the land or sea
that could keep me from possessing thee.
There is no thing that I could find,
not strong ale nor sweet wine,
even Merlin's herbs and such
pale beside My Lady's touch.
There is no rose that could smell as sweet,
no maiden fair that I might meet;
no blazing star in the sky above
could ever outshine my Lady Love.
There is no challenge I would not take,
no quest too bold for me to make,
no ties from which I would not part
to win my fairest Lady's heart.
On my honor this I swear,
all my life with you I'll share,
I pledge my sword, my heart, my name,
pray tell me My Lady you'll do the same.
Prick streches into a carved shape
Longer than its usual length stick
Readily active to puncture tire
In pleasurable drill of strain
And stress till urge sting
To enkindle silent click
Of achy healthy goo
Lightly snowing in
Clucking sounds
Repeatedly shh!
Uncontrollably
What a Prick!
Prick ohh!
Prick!!!...Let loose of heavenly blessings
Jikerewin ji!
Jikerewin ji! ji! ji!
Stifled heartbeats
Jikerewin ji! ji! ji! ji!
Trumped ji! ji! ji! ji! ji!
Ranging six feet whole
Settling down to the bottom
Of the bottomless pit from afar
Fumed fuse of aid beyond its wears
Off in standstill beckoning the patience
To rise and to ride on the way back home
In fun-- a well rounded shape of itself's best
Regards no mask to shame the staged claim
At start, it is able, strong, and hailing non-stop
But now, be willing; do not beyond thy strength
See it not a task but a duty taken up by its limit.
I met Mr. Right tonight
At once I turned crimson
then ghostly white
There he was, Why’d I let him go
my lifelong fear ~ He might say ‘No’
"Though her visuals, depths and span are in my heart’s breath, I am sure the Atlantic sea has never thought of me." ... Poet
I was in the oven when I first crossed
over that vast ocean sky high above
her on a plane to Germany where I was born.
At age three a ship upon the Atlantic sea
sailed me to America, my home country which
was foreign land to me. At age
thirteen I was lent a dream, a sponsor
paid my way on a tour for chaperoned teens of
four European countries. Flying at that age,
I finally, truly saw the sea's awe.
In Amsterdam mist I was first kissed, a feel so
robust a romance mostly by
mail prevailed for a decade plus.
After high school, I pooled goodbye tears when,
again, my dad was sent to Germany
and with my sis and mom went overseas.
I flew across the Atlantic and back three times
for Christmas love, hugs and kisses.
From Cape Cod to the Keys, I have played in her waves.
My life told includes the Atlantic's role.
