Thank you, India!
Thanks for your skill with fabric.
Thanks for your looms of magic.
For centuries in our World,
Your cotton threads were firmly twirled.
Thanks for clothes that keep us warm,
That help save us from the storm,
But there is one swatch that brings me joy.
Hail to that awesome wonder,
Beautiful, beautiful corduroy.
Thank you.
P=Perhaps we should have.
E=Ears for hearing, so listen more.
R=Reading time for a good poem to start each day.
H=Heart, show love along our way.
A=Applause for others and say thank you.
P=Praise as we are blessed.
S=Smiles to give away and make someone's day.
Through the clouds, breezing trees
Angels dance to a song by thee
Dressed in white, wings of purity
Peaceful blissful golden clarity
Rays of light, bursts of laughter
Hopeful sunshine, forgotten thunder
Forever waltzing to sweet tunes
Flying higher than balloons
Innocence captured in their eyes
Always smiling, no need for cries
Never tainted, protected by power
Pedals can't be pulled from flowers
Gracefully singing along to the song
Heavenly sent, no burden belongs
Radiantly, comfortably children forever
From January to December.......
With deepest gratitude
With steady hands and a heart so kind,
You healed with much skill, and preeminent mind.
When clouds of worry covered our sky,
Guiding our boy through the darkest night.
You went beyond what duty asks,
With patience, care, and gentle tasks.
Each step you took, each choice you made,
Brought light to fears that failed to fade.
We thank you more than words can say,
You gave our son a brighter day.
For your hands, your heart, your noble art,
We’ll always hold you close in our heart.

Saxophone & sipping cabernet,
toe tapping,
writing away
dancing within dream,
head bobbing.
O those French mots
j’aime. Sax O!
Relax O, merci beaucoup!

I'm so incredibly proud and privileged ,
to be recognised by the #GBEA '25 team,
The fact that I've been shortlisted,
Is far beyond my wildest dream.
Single mum to three wild boys,
They're the apple of my eyes,
I'm the founder of Lotus Poetry,
A new and upcoming social enterprise.
I'm running on purpose and passion,
Lots of caffeine, kindness and care,
But I'm really struggling to find,
The funds to get me there.
Real life isn't like a fairytale,
This Cinderella is doing her best,
Working hard to find a way,
To attend with all the rest.
Where I get time for me,
It's not often that I do,
I hope I make it work,
So my dream can come true.
A night off from the boys,
So I can drink and dance,
An opportunity to meet you all,
Thanking you for this incredible chance.
Today, my head doesn’t hurt.
Thank you, Lord.
Today, my shoulder doesn’t hurt.
Thank you, Lord.
Today, my back doesn’t hurt.
Thank you, Lord.
Today, my knee doesn’t hurt
Thank you, Lord.
Today, my toe doesn’t hurt.
Thank you, Lord.
But oh, the pain in my soul, my Lord!
The pain in my soul!
I will always be grateful to whales…
for one simple reason why:
The first time I saw a whale fly
I thought…
if he can do it
so can I.
I will always be grateful to whales…

The first time I saw a whale fly
I thought…
if he can do it

I see. Sorry to hear that. Would you like to include your friends and family?
I understand. Your Destruction will ensure that your life is utterly ruined once I’m done.

I wonder, yes I wonder,
how many angels do we have in a lifetime?
They say,
we each have a guardian angel watching over us.
I wonder, yes I wonder,
if some angels are in training?
Do they need to earn their title,
with on the job training?
Then we have,
Our Better Angels.
The ones we can count on through thick and thin.
The ones that will always be there,
there when we need them the most.
I send a huge Thank You to you,
my better angels.
Thank you,
and all of your angels above
Thank you,
for all your love
Thank you,
for helping me
Guiding me,
providing me
Thank you,
for giving me strength
Thank you,
for the water I drank
Thank you,
for the food I eat
Thank you,
for my two feet
Alexander the Great
Julius Caesar
Genghis Khan
Napoleon Bonaparte
valiant conquerors all
in history’s annals they stand tall
Yet while the back story
may lack fame and glory
it’s not to be ignored…
At home, the ‘little woman’ rules the roost
So, don’t forget, ‘heroes of today’ ~
to thank the lady by whom you were produced
Thank you guardian angels, for being a bright light through this life, like the stars in the sky you shine so bright.
Thank you always for being kind, for sending thoughts of positive energy when down, like rain, you wash away and make a new path.
Thank you for the many unseen love influences you have sent, like the energy flowing all around.
Thank you for helping to prevail, when struggling through this life on the way home to heaven, may we all see our way there.
Lifting thank you to God, to all the angels that work for the good of the world.
May we bow down in love and prayer to God to bless us with power to overcome all life’s struggles.
May this day the power of positive prayer and good intentions, be spread around us all.
Continue to guard us all the way home. 444
Let us unite the children of God, and pray that we all see the light. 333
