My eyes open up like a wound
Every impossible day passes by 
Loud heartbeats shadow good things
A single hold of someone could fix it all...

You tell me many times…
I am beautiful!
Your words take me to cloud nine,
In exhilaration, I sail, I float, I glide!

The world may not agree with you,

A Simple Random Act of Kindness

A simple random act of kindness 
Can go a long, long way ... 

It was just the other day 
A woman kissed me on the cheek. 
She had totally caught me 
By surprise. 
Who would kiss this freak. 
But then the tears 
Began to flow. 
My knees, they felt so weak. 
I had almost forgotten

The Road She Walked

She kept walking—until emotions burst.
Weeping, she cried out in a public space,
Where no one cared enough to stop or see
The woman breaking at the corner of the road.

In her sobs, a memory returned:
A voice, a message—
New beginnings,
And a man who stood like a torch of light
In the dim glow of night.

But greed mocked her,
And laughter

A KIND GESTURE

Today’s blessing comes from the words of Steve Maraboli…
Who, as often is the case, express it better than me.

Since we can’t always see what another person is going through…
what kind of suffering…anguish…ordeal
a kind gesture can reach a wound
that only compassion can heal

ROSETTAS

While in London we visited the British Museum…where walking on our own
we stood in front of and marveled at the famed…Rosetta Stone.

The Rosetta Stone it turns out was one of archeology’s greatest gifts…
allowing us to decipher and read ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs,

I mention this because after returning to the states while walking around Asheville

When Money Becomes Power

I have known the hollow silence of empty hands,
once full of gold, now dust and fading strands.
I gave my heart in seasons bright and fair,
helping those in need, with love laid bare.

But when the coins ran out, the doors grew cold,
no pennies left to buy a dream or hold.
Help came shackled, wrapped in debt’s tight

A Cry the World Chose Not to Hear

When Life became too heavy,
People grew harsher,
their words sharpened into wounds,
their silence burned like fire.

When I finally broke,
and Help knocked on my door,
the world turned away,
as if my pain were an inconvenience,
as if my cry were suspicious.

Faith remained my only friend—
steadfast, unwavering—
while Gossip, Mockery, and Bullying roamed freely,
casting shadows where kindness hid.

Rhythm of soft sand,
Rules shaped in grace, not in stone—
Trust in sacred rounds,
Voices calm the storm ahead,
Spirit grows in gentle care.

When Virtues Wait

The life you walk now sighs beneath your feet—
a path once clear now tastes bittersweet.

judgment greets you, distant and cold.

as if warmth is now the weaker choice.
