Hi Bill. Thank you for the lesson. This format is so unique including the voice and tone. I practice now and then but I leave this format up to all of you. Allow me to say however thinking of nature has a way of making it an easy way to start. Have a wonderful night and weekend. Thank you as always for sharing. Blessings and Peace always to you and Sara. (smile)

Thanks Jerry. I realize now I actually wrote three Senryu verse and only one Haiku verse in this one. The second verse is the only Haiku. I tried to be a little creative in advertising the form. lol Have a good day, my friend. Bill

I bow to her talent with the Haiku form, she is blessed and so are we. Thank you for your kind words, Silent One. They are an encouragement to an old poet like me. Write On! Bill

I have a few in reserve. Occasionally I tend to confuse them with a Senryu.

I mentioned above, this had three examples of a Senryu and only one of a Haiku, in it. Only the second verse is a Haiku. They can get confusing, but if it's not about nature and it's 5-7-5, It's probably a Senryu. Thanks for the comment, my friend. Good to see you so often at my poetry page. Have a great week! Bill

Also add a twist or something that makes you think. A large thirsty moose drinking from a flowing stream - a hungry near stares ;)
