Wreck-Nology

Flick on my phone, what do I see? Influencers showing off their bodies. Others saying to love me for me, But how do I feel this beauty. "...great for weight loss! I guarantee..." Problem with no answer, a miserable tragedy. "You are gorgeous!" I wish I could agree. Only the minority spread good means. Haul out all of the fury, Stack it on top of the worry, Feeling dead, absolutely no energy, Felt like this at quite a degree. Spread across this urgency, Expand awareness of this emergency. Determine the international enemy, From apps on our phones, to ads on TV. The misinformation on our technology, Keeps us encaged, locked with no key. We have knowledge to set out minds free, To create a way to escape. To flee.

We always used our imagination as an escape. But see with technology, people architect their imagination into a cyber persona and set it free. And in some cases become it. I used to call it "the party hats" as people in cyberspace would try on different parts of their personality to project to the world, or to just catfish with. I love the poem.
