Wondering Why
As I gaze at the sky so vast,
I think of life and its contrast.
The birds in their freedom fly,
While I feel chained, asking why.
The clouds above, ever-changing,
Show that life is always rearranging.
But still I stand here in this place,
Wondering why life's such a race.
Is it worth it, to run and strive,
Only to learn we cannot strive alive?
Oh, life is a mystery so grand,
A puzzle we cannot understand.
We laugh, we cry, we live, we die,
But still, we can't help but wonder why.
As the stars twinkle from afar,
I realize life is but a fleeting star.
But amidst the chaos and the strife,
Perhaps true meaning lies in living life.
