Thanks, Jerry. I've seen it looking like the picture here in Texas. It's pretty for a day or two, but a week or so is not for me. A poet friend in Texas, Bill

I wonder how dangerous a falling icicle could be? Thank you for sharing this one with us and for dropping by my page. Sara K

A Falling icicle could put one's eye out, they are pointed and sharp when hard frozen. I've heard of people dying from being stabbed by a falling icicle. Thank for the comment, Sara. Have a nice evening. Bill

My dear friend, your wondrous depiction of the winter season is truly remarkable. Your careful choice of words has skillfully crafted a splendid haiku, effectively conveying the serenity of a snow-covered landscape. As the delicate snowflakes gently descend from the heavens, one cannot help but marvel at the elegant icicles gracefully suspended from above.

Those icicles top this poem off. An impression is given that winter is dug in, and it's been cold for some time. This was a lovely haiku.

Brrr a chilled haiku Bill, I remember a few years ago we had a very harsh winter - 20 c and the icicles on the house were like spears, we kept well clear but they looked lovely at night with the Christmas lights, like Santa's grotto lol. Tom

Thanks for the colorful comments, Tom. When those icicles get large and hard frozen, they can be dangerous. Bill
