Fresh air and breathing it in Underrated free feel good win Viewing and experiencing natural terrain An amazing tranquilliser for the brain Moving your shoulders up and down Easy first step to happy town We all want to feel better When cold, we'll put on a sweater We may switch to a more comfortable seat If we are hungry, get something to eat But should we sense our mood decline We forget micro adjustments may return us to fine Taking a pen and writing it out Painting or etching could help no doubt Photographing and editting a beautiful scene A bath or a shower and good hygiene Reading a book with a cup of tea With a cat or small dog on your knee Small steps in the right direction Phoning a friend and feeling a connection Recognise you can moderate your mood There are easy things to attempt or include Moving away from coffee and ale Good at the time, but there's a sting in their tail Trying to ensure you rest at night Perhaps not easy, but it'll help alright Don't fool yourself that just resting is key Balanced diet, socialisation and hydration aren't just hyperbole Try simple things, easy wins Often more powerful than medicines Create a routine of positive stuff Try it for a week, see if you feel less rough It's tried and tested and often true That what helps is restoring faith in you

Yes, these practical tips can enhance one's well being to a considerable degree ! Well thought out and beautifully presented in lovely rhyming verse, Dilly. More than anything one should build up self trust. Enjoyed reading this inventory of self help suggestions....
