Unfinished

Perfectly poised As yet undecided The poise and the elegance fading The potential waning, waning Ever aiming to be the untapped potential Unjudged for who she may really be So perfectly poised On the cusp of greatness Maybe, maybe In fear of the revelation Of the ordinary, unremarkable truth Of the enchantments end The halfway line approaches As yet neither a failure or a success There's always time, always time For the great reveal Or the retraction into the shadows Denying ever having competed Time doesn't stand still She's not made a move She's perfectly poised, perfectly poised Time moves on Unquantified, unestablished Unjudged, content unknown
