I piece together the day so far
As I stare up at the moon
Strikingly reminiscent of the stained glass
The bones of Christ
Translucent upon the cross
Seeing through
But not beyond
Like the mist on these mountains
Clouded thoughts in my mind
Forever lost in a half formed memory
That masquerades as a premonition
