TO QUOTE MILT'S LIMERICK
Milt's Limerick
Knobby Knees
There was a young lad from Aberdeen
His knees were knobbiest ever seen
Bought himself a kilt
Wore it without guilt
Kept his bony knees kilt-worthy clean
Now for my Monoku . . .
Here is my Da, born Aberdeen, with his knobbly knees, that ain't so clean
Indiana Shaw . . . "Do Me" . . . : / "Many thanks to L. Milton Hankins for allowing me to quote his Limerick" . . . "Sorry, Milt's, I couldn't resist" . . . ; )

Hi Indiana: What fun your Monoku is and the picture is priceless. As kids we used to get down in the dirt and my brother called me knobby knees. That’s when I was 10. Made this a FAV. Nice to meet you.

Hi, Suzanna, poor old Milt's is away now, keeping God entertained, and is sadly missed, Milt's is one of the reasons I don't write as much poetry now, he was a leader in trying out different formats in poetry, I just don't want to let the guy down of what he taught me, Happy New Year . . .

Aw, this is so neat! Thanks, Indiana. I didn't have this boy in mind, but I did have a picture in my mind very much like him. Thank you! Thank you!

No need to thank me, Milt's, more thank you, I do have a photo of my Dad, with clean knees in his kilt, but, I thought this would be more fun, Cheers, for being such a good sport . . . ; )
