Thorn Rose Mr
The intricacy of the thorn can be beautiful in itself by the right beholder. The requirement for distance and delicate handling mean beauty is not seen or appreciated by all but in the end that doesn't matter.

I grew stealthily more thorny
As the dangers presented
Guarding the rose inside my heart
Til all I was thinking
Was about dangers prevented
Forgetting the rose at the start
Time strides forward
Lost chances lamented
Wishing my life could restart
But I'm Thorn Rose by nature
Tormented not sweet scented
These thorns are what set me apart
So I have sharp edges
But am not unornamented
Slightly dangerous yet delicate art
