Me and the dawn, the waking sun, the earth and all its glory, the sun shining down on me.
Me and the twilight, the rising moon, the sky and all its glory, the moon shining down on me.
Me and the autumn, the falling leaves, the field and all its glory, the pumpkin and cranberry leaves dancing all around me.
Me and the winter, an icy serenade, the frozen earth in all its glory, the purity of the heaven-given snow enveloping me.
Me and the spring, a chatterbox of colors and green, the thawing earth in all its glory, the sweet promise the raindrops bring falling all around me.
Me and the summer, a newly radiant sun so free and bright, the blazing blue sky in all its glory, the endless, languid days mesmerizing me.

I'm sure the cranberry leaves would give an amazing dance performance. I love to read about nature. This piece shows your relaxed mind and high-frequency creative consciousness. Shows how much the colours of nature add to not just our thoughts but, also our physical senses. Nature is the poet's favourite lover, inseparable.

I like the way you think and write, Tonye. I appreciate your love for nature...it speaks to me on a different level...so you're right. I love your words: 'nature is the poet's favorite lover, inseparable'--such a beautifully poetic comment. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. Have a pleasant evening, Sara

Lush descriptions of the seasons, and imagery, as God's generous bounty. It's a cool format although a free verse, using "me and..." makes for an original cadence and display. Sara I enjoyed the changes in the seasons with you, in your prime poetry. The image very cool.:) Warmest wishes!

thank you for visiting and for commenting on my poem. I'm glad you liked the 'me and...' construction. It just came to me while I was writing. Glad, too, you liked the image. Have a pleasant afternoon.

As i am reading this im listening to a beautiful sonata, and i cant help but think, how lyrical this sounds, melodiously flowing with such magical imagery, so artistic, where you’ve described in sheer eloquence various seasons and their colors and what they mean to you! So good! I love so many lines in this especially love the moon stanza and autumn stanza, maybe cus i am a moon lover and autumn because you wrote “ cranberry leaves dancing all around “ how profound! I cant help but be in awe

thank you for stopping by, 'Ink.' A sonata sounds lovely. I enjoy listening to sonatas, especially when it rains. Your complimentary words mean a great deal to me. They're meaningful and flow eloquently like your poetry. I'm grateful for you...and thank you for consistently seeing the depth in my words. Have a blessed Sunday!
