Third Person Bio

Crazy in a good way, controlled hilarity She makes me feel good to be me So honest, she offers a truth buffet Controlled hilarity, crazy in a good way Push her to the front, she'll surely get us in She slides past the rules, strategises the win Usually includes a free round of drinks stunt She'll surely get us in, push her to the front She's right on the money with her advice She invests herself, not just nice to be nice And oh my God, she is so damn funny! With her advice, she's right on the money She's batting out of the park in that dress Ask her how much it cost, it'll be a fiver or less When in the zone, she definitely hits the mark In that dress, she's batting out of the park Tell her she's a nob, why so down on herself She needs tough love, to fix her mental health Positive feedback doesn't seem to do the job Why so down on herself, tell her she's a nob

I have a few originals but I'm happy with 'inspired by' brands like Hell Bunny. Charity Shops are my dream day out. Bought 3 dresses, a pair of jeans and a top today for £15 :)

We call those consignment shops of retro garments! Love them. Or Thrift shops, love them too!

Ahh I'm all hang ups but I do have good friends who don't seem to care :) it's easy to relax in good company and I do like a bit of 1950s tailoring :)

I enjoy this poem. It is very lively with an interesting bio. The ending brings an abrupt stop,but adds meaning.

Thank you Hilda, it's a tough one to imagine how you are seen and not being negative (for me) so I thought if I weave in the reality of what I hear rather than imagine it might turn out nicer :) although the first like is more what I hope haha

Oh wow. You used one of my favorite forms, swap quatrains. How clever. Yours is one of the best written in this challenge. In some ways you found a lot like me!

They are so quick to write - I do enjoy a swap quatrain after seeing Wen write one last year (or the year before - think I've been here 2 years now!) I wasn't sure what to write so went with the things that always come up (all apart from the last verse - my friends tell me straight when necessary but aren't usually that straight lol)

She’s a nob x3! or so she thinks, Isn’t it mad Dilly for all our positive qualities, we tend to get brought down by a few negative ones, it’s possibly due to an imbalance in self perception, if gentle persuasion doesn’t work, a reality check with tough love just might, (overspill here) good biceps need triceps and brachial’s to look good from all angles lol! You're too kind once again :) I think the one and only time I'm aware of that was when I'd sat out the 90s set at a themed night and my friend insisted I just go and ask for a song I liked. I did and the DJ played it immediately and I strutted back on the dance floor all happy again and was welcomed back with open arms. My friends called me a nob in such a sweet way I was genuinely quite moved by their generosity haha hopefully I have been building up the full complement of arm muscles. When I'm next gazing lovingly at them I'll see if I can identify the other muscles :)
