These Are the Days

These are the hours And the days I need in my pocket The ones I'll stare at In my head And relive The dog enjoyed walking on the wall On the sea front And had doggy ice cream (Photographed him having adventures like he was our new toddler) The children climbed the 8ft high letters Of the place name (I'd possibly advised against it) I've secretly bought Far too much chocolate For an Easter trail That the Easter Bunny Will get the credit for on Sunday And I'm again lay at the bottom Of my smallest girls bed As she doesn't go to sleep I watched the round offs and cartwheels Been given a daisy And told I'm loved By each of my babies These are the days We are born to live

This poem is charged wih feeling in a gentle way and settles in the mind with some lovely lines. Nice to spend some time in the space it has created, share the moment.

Thanks, it's nice to record such times in real time. Almost like occupying a dream. I could easily change my lens to see ordinary or even believe something was difficult. But it's not, it's beautiful and magically mine and treasured :)

Ohhh yessss Cherish them, they are fleeting. Dont miss an important minute of their growing up. It will happen all too fast. You have a wonderful family and you seem like a perfect Mum. You are truly blessed. A beautiful Poem. A favorite for me .
