I follow the curve of the land
forging a way that was already dictated
falling whilst shackled to endlessness
becoming as I rush blindly forward
looking to the ground
a thunderous roar my ever present burden
all life grows around me
washing away just my own colour and foundations
evaporative yet too attached to gravity
the line long since lost it's leader
but tracks are tracks for the trained
bound to the air which I serenely steal away
there's beauty in nature's way
unfought against, because why?
so I gaze into the distance
where I am and I'm not
for everything is different
each and every time
knowing more is less
as the beginning gets old
and endings are but brief immersion
embrace the disappearance of time
as we all cling to the rocks
holding on as long as we can
endings are a different energy
when all you've known is perpetuality
