reaching, at a stretch shockingly, still casting a shadow still holding form it's too much to take in nothing can be held, only passed through perhaps shaped by the knowing more likely picked clean of peace I was never within, never within that eye to eye tethered stare once you've seen, you can't look away what kind of life is that/this waiting: until I'm in the ground again

Dear Di11y, as always, your thought-provoking pen spills a gem upon the poetic page. Beautiful verses, intriguing.. they capture the essence of the sculpture pictured above, but they also stand on their own as an exquisite piece of poetry.
