The Story of ''Me''
or
Soup's On!
"Most flies in the soup know not they are in the soup."
-- a Rationally Intelligent wader
in knowing the tables shall turn on Me
* * *
Yet in the soup, Me is a feeling being full aware
Me rather somewhat rapidly is swimming in despair --
and Me -- unlike each fly hard doggy-paddling -- full know
in time -- and yet perhaps in pain -- Me belly up shall go.
* * *
a dedication of Respect
for
the Rationally Ethical fly
in not hatching maggots in the soup
a revolving helios rhyme menippean satire on
each insect a special individual
named "me"
january, 2023 -- yet worldwide being served up
but gobs of the same old soup-of-the-day
specials
