The Stall of the Unseen

Yesterday was a day As today is a don't Stall the jarring Stem the sudden stern jolt My trajectory wavers Flourishes While withers Undertake to understand steps That fall away to the side I spin and I spiral I clip and I catch I fame and I fortune I ditch and I dash Today isn't done Though thinking is empty The day that was this Stalled slightly on something The space in my psyche Where others dictate Leap me from spires to dires Singsong to dirge Self sufficiency Stops when supposes Step in Lens loops lengthways Lopsided So opinion divided As distance bestowed Here I stand There's the path I can look forward Or back Choose a moment Or be mind-read Decipher is flawed I'd be foolhardy to listen I should place that opinion Outside of the loop playing softly indoors For who can rule over self belief solely No other but me, a make believe model Walk it off, wish it skywards Woes that should wash away with the tide
