A short man climbed up on a wall So others would think he was tall Small muscles, no abs And tired of their jabs Embarrassed to go to the mall

Prince Rogers Nelson was short and a musical genius who was soooo sexy. It is sexy if you know how to present and carry yourself. Confidence is key. After reading this I said awww. Lol. Enjoyed the rhyme.

Although I am short, the poem wasn't about me. It was to bring to attention that people that are very short, or even very tall, can be abused through the jokes people tell about them. Thanks for the comments, Karen. Bill

Good Morning Bill. Hi. Well it was your title that caught my eye so I had to turn the page. As always, even though your entry is in limerick fashion, you wrote with elegance and grace. Height is an issue with me and has been since my entire lifetime. I am 4/10 so I am familiar of height concepts and commentary from others. The women in my family average about five feet zero inches. As we age, we tend to get shorter (in our senior years). My wife is four inches shorter than when we got married 40 years ago. Thanks for the personal touch to your comment, my friend. Enjoy this day the Lord has blessed us with. Bill

Your limericks are cute, and this one is NOT an exception. My only relation to being short, is that I missed being 5ft 9 by only 1/4 of an inch. Grrrr! Was the 2nd tallest of the GIRLS in my class.
