The Prologue
I wonder if you know what it is that you do to me,
The effect in which you have upon me.
I wonder if you delight in the wicked power you have over me;
Over my soul.
I wonder if you do it on purpose,
Knowing that I cannot deny you,
That I would not deny you even if the choice was mine.
I wonder if the reason you watch me so closely,
The reason why you pull me closer,
Is so that you can decide which pieces of me to take next.
Although, my love,
You need only ask-
Every inch of me was yours to begin with.
I gave myself to you
Without a moment's hesitation
