I appreciate sunsets. They're peaceful, for they not only mark the end of one day,

but in their fading they also hale the beginning of another day,

a day full of hope and promise

the sun disappears into red and orange night 'goodnight' it whispers sun on horizon watch it sink into the land my soul is at peace

Yes, it was the end to a perfect day. I do like sunsets as well with the feeling that the day has some closure with most of the days chores being done. Thanks for sharing and for dropping by my page. Sara

Wow wow, what a breathtaking write this is, being a sunset lover, I thoroughly enjoyed the hues of dusk and peaceful vibes you've created with your enchanting words here. Definitely sunsets mark the end of the day as well as give us hope that the sun will rise in a new shine the very next day.. The way you are able to convey so much within such few words.. I don't think mankind will ever tire of a beautiful sunset, do you? Another testimony to a God of science and mathematics. Best sunsets we ever saw was over the Gulf at Clearwater beach. Sweet poem Sara
