The Out-Of-Print Book of Unquoted Proverbs
•Telling your children they are stupid
is like looking at your reflection.
•Don’t be fooled, stupidity is no accident.
It’s achieved at great cost and effort.
•Never tell a woman she’s ugly. The last thing
she wants to hear is someone’s confirmation.
•Eat raw garlic and enjoy an evening free
of boring people and insipid talk.
•A bride that cannot cook will in time
have her husband eating out. Only a fool
thinks he can live on love. Buy her
a cookbook. The table offers more
pleasures than the bed – and more often.
•Never insist your wife wear clothes
another man’s eyes can see through.
•Be honest and open with your wife –
unless you fear the loss of your life.
