The Devil's Reply

THE DEVIL'S REPLY
There is no such thing, as your ignorance
You just failed only, to see your own fate
You were none but a child, of imminence
Once you stepped within my unholy gates
Took away your happiness, sent you hell
Sailed all those against you, simple to do
Fight not the jealousies, that inside dwell
Preventing a truer love, to come through
Now you return, expect from me remorse
Played my heart, expecting yourself to win
Nothing could prevent, this ill-fated course
You who committed, this your greatest sin
Long for your death; spend your legacy wild
Recompense jealousies which you once riled
Indiana Shaw . . .
In continuance to the Sonnet - "On Death, I Shall Be Free" . . .
