Life is eternal, thats a very deep and philosophical thought there youve expanded and elaborated in such a seamless and poetic manner bill, i can see you have a very deep understanding of life through “ destinations unknown” “Possible reincarnation” i wonder .. too. To our human mind they're some good attributes to having another go at physical life. Many of the world religion believe in reincarnation. Most western religions do not believe in reincarnation. When we physically die, I do believe our Spirit lives on eternally ... whether it reincarnates and becomes physical again; I'll have to wait and see. :-) Some things I think about are above my paygrade ... or they're on a need-to-know timetable. Thanks for the comments, Silent One. Sara was the writer, and I was the poet. She got me to write a novel, then I convinced her to write some poems, (Bought her a Lifetime Membership on Poetry Soup). I had to read this one two or three times to understand it. Now let me put my Christian brain to work on this. If by life is eternal you mean God's life is eternal then I agree. However we mortals have a short life on the eternal time clock. As a Christian I have a hope of an eternal life to come, after Jesus returns to get me. I don't have a Christian answer to reincarnation, except that is in the movies I think, not the real world.

In my humble opinion, Miranda, when we die our Spirit lives on eternally. The Bible teaches they that eternity will be spent, as Christian generally agree, in Heaven or Hell. Some even think when we go to heaven we receive a new body (Reincarnation). The word reincarnation can be thought of in many different lights. It's just a thought of a possibility here in this poem. We can all think about it however we want. Our Creator is the only one that knows the answers to these kinds of questions. We probably wouldn't understand if He told us.
